D2 – Evaluate the effectiveness of the tools used to plan the project
The tools I used where helpful in my project that I had to do, the tools I used where project libre, pro portal, pro portals smart targets and teacher feedback system on Moodle. With these tools they helped me keep track on that work I had to do and when I had to get it done by. They also helped me to see what work needed to be fixed and what work got referred and what was wrong with it. For an example for Paul Bolger I got my M1 referred and with the feedback system and with this saw what was wrong with my work and what was needed to be done to be fixed. However I had to wait for the tutor to mark the work and upload what was wrong with it or if it was ok, meaning that if the teacher never marked the work for a while then I would not know if it was correct until he marked it. Another issue with it is that if the system took a while to update then I would not know what needed to be done to fix it, or that they website might go down meaning that I would not be able to see what was needed to be done.
Furthermore with pro portal it was very helpful in my project because I could see what I had work I had to do and what work I have passed, also see what work got referred and needed to be fixed. During my project I had to see if to see what I had left to do and how much work I had to do in all the units. However with the system some things I found annoying with it is that it had units from the previous year in it meaning I sometimes got confused on the work I had to finish as I sometimes looked at the wrong unit. Another issue was that when I had completed some work it takes a while for the system to update so I can see if I had passed it or not.
Another thing I used to help me through my project was the pro portal smart targets; I used this to set myself targets so I can get the work done when I need it to be done. For an example I set my self a target to complete Paul Bolger’s passes and merits by the following week. This helped me throughout my project because I could make a list of what needed to be done and by when.
The main program I used in my project was project libre; I used this to make a project plan. I used this project plan so I could see when I needed to get the work done by and when my deadline was. I also used it to see when I had to get a certain unit finished so I can be on track to complete my project without doing past my deadline. In addition I found that using project libre was a little confusing when I first used it as it was not very user friendly in my opinion and I found it quite hard to find out what I had to do when using the program. A improve that it could do with is a more friendly interface and more user friendly.
D1 – Show the communication with the stakeholder through the stages of the project
Throughout my project I used feedback to see where I was up to with my project and what work I had remaining so I could make sure I was on track and would manage to complete all the work remaining. I did this to make sure I could get all the work done so I could reach my gold of completing all the units work. I got this feedback in multiple ways by using multiple methods of communication for an example, Pro portal and the feedback tutors gave me on my work. I also emailed tutors asking them to mark my work. When I had handed in so I can see if I have passed that piece of work or not so I can fix any issues with it.
Pro Portal:
I used this system to see if have passed the work that I have handed in and to see if I had anything I needed to fix with a certain piece of work.
I also used it to see what work I had outstand and what I needed to complete.
Using this helped me with me project due to the fact that I knew what I had to do and what I had remaining to do to complete the project.
Feedback from tutors:
Here I used the feedback from the tutor so I can see if I had completed that part of the work, and to see if I had any work to complete. For an example for Paul Bolger’s M1 I had something in it to fix in my work. This is important because if I did not see this then I would not know if I had passed it or what is wrong with the work that I handed in. meaning that I could fail the project because I did not manage to complete all the work that was needed to be done.
Smart Targets:
Another thing I used to keep track on what I was doing is smart targets. I used these to make sure I was meeting my targets I wanted to get done so I can complete the project. These are important because I can see what I have to do and where I set my self to complete them by. These helped complete my project because I could see what I have left to do and what I wanted to get done and when by.
M2 Specification Risks
The risks of this project is that if i failed any of my lessons then i will end up failing the course ending up in me not getting the job that i wanted. also that i would be failing the course.
I want to finish this because i want to get the beat grades i can possible from the course so that i have a better chance of getting the job i want to get and that i have a higher chance of getting chosen for the job i want.
If i do not complete the course or not complete all of the courses it will reduce my chances of getting the job i want meaning that i would have to get a different job or redo college to get the grades i want to be able to get that job.
To get the grades i want to get i need to complete all the lessons in my course to enable me to get the best possible grades. Therefore i must complete all the work that is needed to be done.
The risks of this is that i don’t have enough time to get all the work done meaning that i will fail some lessons. Another risk is that i do not complete every single piece of work and get a low grade like a pass in all the lessons.

Major Project
With the work that I am doing in college I wish to complete all the lessons so that when I finish college I can get the best possible grades so I can get the best possible job. To get the best possible job I want to get I need to get a minimum of a pass on the course. However I would like to try and get a distinction.
With the work that I do have left I think that Mohamed animation is the most imported to get finished at this moment in time. With getting this finished it will increase the possibility of me getting the best possible job that I want to get.
To pass that lesson I need to complete my animation and complete the planner document.
P7 Review project process
Whole process:
This project was about creating a album cover and a promotional package for the band The Chain Gang of 1974. My part of the project was to create 2 album cover aswell as Liam creating 2 aswell and then it was down to me to create the final design.
Good Points: In my opinion we all worked together very well and that we got the project done within a good time and that we did not have any real set backs or problems.
Less good points: When doing the project we did not really come across any back things. apart from one of the applications that we was using crashed a little bit causing us a minor set back, apart from that there was not really and set backs that caused us to loss any times on the project or to loss any work.
Unexpected points: During the project we did not come across any issues or faults in the project and we had not issues that caused us to panic or rush the work.
Software:
The software that i used was mainly Photoshop to create the album covers. the software was very reliable and did not have an errors or crash at all. The amount of tools that where available to use where very good and and helped a lot when creating the covers. The other software that we used called project libre worked well and was good to create what it was needed to.
People:
When we was doing the project our team (Me, Max and Liam) worked very well with no issues or conflicts through out the project, we worked well as a team and we got all the worked done that was needed to be done and we got it all done a good amount of time. Also that everyone in the group got on with the work and never messed around and got the worked completed. the Attitude in the group was very good and we worked together in some parts to get the work done and to complete the work so that we would not fall behind.
I feel that i worked very well and that i was on track and got the work done that was needed to be done and that i did not deviate from the work and that i was focused on finishing the work that was needed to be done
Specification:
In the project we achieved all of the work in the group that was needed and that we had worked as a team to get it done. We had completed the hole project by completing the album covers and the documentations that was needed to be done. When working on the project we never failed at completing anything or bodged anything meaning that we had to do it again. And that we managed to complete it with not many problems or any failures in the group. also that we managed to completed the hole project within that allotted time.
Products:
The products that we created was all fit for purpose and that we think that the album covers that me and Liam created where good for use and would attract people into buying them. We also think that the quality of the work that we created was excellent and that it was all good work and that if was up to standard. The products that we created are fit for purpose due to that fact that they can be used in multiple things. for an example it can be used to be put on a T-shirt or any merchandise that they wise to use it on. also the covers that we believe are good and are appealing as a cover. The work we created came out better than expected. apart from the page with the tours dates was a little small. The hole project that we created was better than we planed and that we managed to complete it with standard of work.

Band Biography
The band has been together for 6 years and originally formed in early 2008 with several members including Gabe Newell and Kayne West who all went on to become huge stars because of the publicity the band provided for them. Over the years the band lost its members to drugs, glory and fame until it came down to the one man band it is today. Now Kamtin Mohager resides as the final member, he plays tribute to his former band members in this exclusive single.
Kamtin Mohager was a troubled child, brought up by a pack of wild dogs, he quickly learned to survive by eating those that he came across. After 6 years of eating any humans he could spot, he discovered New York City. This is when he met Gabe Newell, who was on his way to make some children cry by teasing his new game, Half Life 3. GabeN introduced Kamtin Mohager to McDonalds, it was a revolution for Kamtin Mohager. He could finally eat horse meat, his favourite meat, without actually hurting anyone.
This brings us onto GabeN, a techie from birth. In the first two years of his life he wrote two video games, Half Life One and Half Life 2. Unfortunately at the age of three he too found McDonalds. Within the year he was no longer able to program and Half Life 3 had been delayed indefinately, to praise GabeN in the hopes he might one day make HL3, games made the church of GabeN where people could go to pray about their sale related queries.
Kayne West had a perfectly normal childhood, he played like others, worked hard and did well in school. But at the age of 12 he fell into a heroin needle and became severely addicted to drugs. It is at this point he decided to dedicate his life to making absoutely terrible music, so he teamed with Kamtin Mohager and GabeN (The only talented singer, although he could never do more than two notes at a time) to make what they call, the best band of all time.

P4 – Project Specification
Unit 17 – Project Specification
This document will detail the project in its entirety, including all the things that need to be done in the project, when they need to be done by and who is to blamed if they go wrong.
Album
The album consists of 2 tasks, the first is the design for the cover of the album and the second is the tour date insert that will slot in the album. The design for the cover of the album will need to be drafted 4 times before the final album cover can be decided upon and created. The tour date insert will be a piece of paper that is slotted in with the album cover, it will detail the tour that the band is going on so that people are aware of it.
Press Pack
The press pack will consist of a few things, the first is the biography. The biography will contain different “facts” about the band that fans may find interesting. The second part of the press pack is the staged questions and answers, these are things that radio stations can use to fake an interview by asking the set questions and just playing the recorded answer afterwards.
Due to the press pack being used widely in radio stations, it is very unlikely that a band will be able to go to them or even want to, solving this is simple and is done by providing the radio hosts with stages questions and answers. The stages questions will be provided in a format that they can be asked by the host and an pre-recorded answer can be played, this requires the band to provide answers for the questions that will be provided within the press pack.
Who does what & Where is blame shifted
The project will be split between three parties, the first is Max Tingle. Max will be responsible for (RE: Will have to do and can be blamed for) the pres pack biography as well as the press pack questions which must be done by January 17th.
The second party is Liam Greenwood, Liam will be responsible for the album artwork (Including 4 drafts and final creation) as well as the design and creation of the handout that will be added into the album to raise awareness of the upcoming tour, like Max’s work it must be complete by January 17th.
The third and final party is Adam Edwards, since there isn’t much left to the project Adam will be assisting Liam in the creation of the drafts for the album artwork as well as the decision of which draft(s) should be used in the final design.
